To travel the world for you.. Morgan & Roger

Morgan & Roger met in Brisbane around 2 weeks before he was leaving Australia to return to his home in the USA almost 4 years ago. One week before Roger left they went on a date. They fell in love. In our photo session they not only shared their amazing story of love and travel with me but they also shared with me their laughter and beautiful energy.

Couples photo sessions with Over the Moon Photography are so much more than posing in one spot and then being told to ‘kiss and have a connection!’. Morgan and Roger’s photos show that it was an adventure in the woods that was a beautiful celebration of them as a couple, enjoying an afternoon stroll soaking up the sunshine, the freshness of the air, and each other. I create photo sessions that allow you to open up, be who you are and truly connect, so that you remember the feelings and the fun time you had when you see your photos on the wall, instead of cringing.

Morgan and Roger now live in the USA together and on a visit to Australia with family, Roger proposed on Valentine’s Day. There is no doubt from spending an afternoon with these two that they are indeed soul mates. I asked Roger why he was still in love with Morgan after all this time and his reply was this: ‘We are always honest, we constantly laugh and we still keep it romantic. And we are best friends that like to hang out with each other – even in silence.’

Morgan & Roger thank you for celebrating such a special time in your lives with me and for allowing me to capture it.

Our gorgeous sunset photo session was on the grounds at Kiwarrak Country Retreat in the stunning Manning Valley on the mid north coast. I love to travel, it is part of what nourishes me as a photographer, so don’t feel that because I live in the Blue Mountains that you have to miss out on having gorgeous photos captured of you and your loved one. Get in touch and see when I’ll be in your neck of the woods next.
